Girl Skateboards and Spike Jones have smashed it once again with these Beastie Boys Photo Deck Series.
Girl Skateboards’ capsule includes a host of skate decks emblazoned with photographs sourced from memorable moments in the New York-based band’s career. These range from the old men costumes seen on the cover of the Sounds of Science anthology, Check Your Head-era hangouts and plenty of fake mustaches from the “Sabotage” music video shoot. The imagery aligns with Spike Jonze, who recently premiered his Beastie Boys Story documentary on Apple TV+ and wrote the forward for the new Rizzoli Beastie Boys book.
